Our Legacy
ETCM School of Nursing was established in 1912 with a noble vision to raise skilled nurses through high-quality education.
After the launch of ETCM Hospital, the founder Dr. Margaret Lewis experienced a surge of patients and recognized the need for trained nurses. She requested the Woman’s Foreign Missionary Society (WFMS) to send a qualified American nurse to set up the nursing program in Kolar.
Thus in 1912, Ms. Martha Griffin moved to India and started the ETCM School of Nursing with four students.
In 2005, our institution evolved into ETCM School & College of Nursing, marking a significant milestone. What started with four students has now flourished to over 350+ students and a faculty team of 24 dedicated professors.

PROGRAMS OFFERED
GNM
The School of Nursing commenced in 1912 by Ms. Martha Griffin. The school is accredited by both the Indian Nursing Council and Karnataka.
B.SC
The College of Nursing (BSc nursing) commenced in 2004. The college is accredited by both the Indian Nursing Council and the Karnataka State Nursing Council.
M.SC
The Master of Science program started in 2008 – with five seats in the medical-surgical nursing specialty. In 2010-11, both INC/RGUHS approved three seats.
PARAMEDICAL
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technologist Course (DMLT) Diploma in operation Theatre Technician & Anesthesia Technician Course.
