The School of Nursing commenced in 1912 by Ms. Martha Griffin. The school is accredited by both the Indian Nursing Council and Karnataka State Nursing Council and is affiliated with the Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board (KSDNEB).

The College of Nursing (B.Sc nursing) commenced in 2004. The college is accredited by both the Indian Nursing Council and the Karnataka State Nursing Council. Additionally, it is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science in Bangalore, Karnataka.

MASTER OF SCIENCE (M.Sc)

The Master of Science program started in 2008 – with five seats in the medical-surgical nursing specialty. In 2010-11, both INC/RGUHS approved three seats for community health nursing, pediatric nursing, and psychiatric nursing.
